Lukey the czech for 9/15/07
September 14 - 2007

Lukey went 5 for 5 last weekend, but his chalk-eating caused him to slip to a total return of negative $33.17 (based on $5 and $10 mythical wagers). I’m sure you may be tempted to jump ship, but know this: we’re talking about a man who escaped communist Czechoslovakia by stowing away on a livestock truck, disguised in a hollowed out sheep carcass. Lukey rode to freedom through five-hundred yards of shit smelling foulness I can’t even imagine, or maybe I just don’t want too. Five-Hundred yards… that’s the length of five football fields, just shy of half a mile.
Lukey’s picks, sans sheep carcass, are after the jump.
Lock of the Week:
You may or may not know but outside of cheering for the Czech National Team, I am an Arsenal fan. And although the game is not my pick of the week let me leave you with some stats: in the last eight North London derby’s you have four wins and four ties for Arsenal. I believe that Tottenham has not won in 9 years - wow!! Good luck, you Dutch douche-rocket.
Instead, my Czech ass is off to the JJB where Wigan hosts Fulham. Quite frankly, I don’t understand the American soccer fans’ obsession with Fulham. Do I cheer for Monaco because Jan Koller plays there? Hell no. In fact, I could give two shits. Let’s face it: Fulham stink and they stink even more on the road. Two road games, zero wins, four goals against. Wigan on the other hand have two wins at home, scored four goals, and conceded no goals. What do you expect with Smertin, Davies, and Davis running your midfield? Doesn’t thire coach have a woman’s name? Wigan 3 - Chicks 1!
