For those looking to start the week with only a minor investment in intellectual capital, I give you the “random German video of animals invading the pitch, set to funny surf music.” Be on the lookout for:
- Paraguayans chasing a chicken.
- a dingo-looking dog fleeing the Korean buffet table.
- mallard going top-shelf.
- Obafemi Martins catching a sea-bird like it’s in his contract.
- referee killing a frog. Jerk.
Or, for those ready to start the day with something a bit more cerebral, there’s the very excellent London Times article concerning the fortunate financial timing of Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract renewal. Enjoy.
The music may be a Chocobo Theme from the Final Fantasy series. Chocobos are ostrich-like creatures, so it would be a somewhat relevant choice.
