Kenny Cooper and Kasey Keller embroiled in Gay Sex scandal!

For years I’ve felt the practice of writing false stories on April 1st indicated the majority of the human race were morons.  Now that I have a forum to write just such a story, I’ll admit: I find the prospect nearly irresistible. 

But who needs fiction when the Czech National Team gets busted with hookers the same day South African legislators look to legalize the practice in time for 2010?

“I want you to apply your minds to my dilemma of what to do with the thousands of soccer hooligans expected to imbibe in public spaces and those who would feel the urge to try out other more exotic pastimes, both currently illegal in South Africa…Are you saying the police must go out and arrest them, or are we going to have a special dispensation for the whole country during that period?”

If there’s one thing we at Soccernista can get behind, it’s hoo…that was going to come out wrong.  At any rate, bring on the dispensations!
