Lukey the Czech for 2/3/07

I once watched Lukey the Czech deliberately try to trip a 40 year-old woman during an intramural indoor soccer game. She whirled around and said, My son is in junior high school, and he has more class than you! Lukey, without missing a beat, responded, Get him out here: I’ll kick his ass too.

I tell you this only because when you’re looking to make some money, you need a tipster with a heart of stone. No favors, no sentiments: just winners. Lukey’s been fitting the bill of late, and finds himself with a bankroll of $147.93 (based on $5 and $10 mythical wagers). Join him for more ruthless picks, after the jump.

Lock of the Week:

It’s been a couple of weeks since my last round of picks, and I still can’t get over the elation I felt when Liverpool dismantled Chelsea (my lock of the week). It was a beautiful sight: the chosen one sitting helpless on the sideline with players worth millions who could do nothing to counter the Liverpool onslaught. Ahhhh. But we must move forward, just like putting down the Ghurka and picking up your next fine piece of tobacco wrapped heaven.

This week, we’re off to Villa Park. The Hammers are dealing with a slew of injuries, terrible away-form (they have yet to record a win away from home), and some absolutely awful finishing - an astonishing 4 goals scored and 24 conceeded on the road. Newly acquired Matthew Upson will surely look to change this pattern when he makes his debut for the Hammers against his old rivals.

Villa have not been great as of late either, but they do have a winning record at home and have only conceeded 11 goals in 12 home games. Combine that with the Hammers ghastly form and I think the conclusion becomes apparent: The Villians beat up on Wet Spam….3-0!!!!!!

Liverpool v Everton: 2-0
Aston Villa v West Ham: 1-0
Blackburn v Sheff Utd: 2-1
Charlton v Chelsea: 1-3
Fulham v Newcastle: 2-2
Man City v Reading: 1-0
Watford v Bolton: 0-2
Wigan v Portsmouth: 1-1
Middlesbrough v Arsenal: 1-3

Tottenham v Man Utd: 0-2
