“Out of the Bastard Way!”
January 23 - 2007
I tried playing EA Sports FIFA Manager ‘06, but it lessened my quality of life. The game was so exhaustive in its detail and realism that I found myself projecting real-life issues with clubs and players onto the game. In turn, this contributed to a feedback effect on Saturdays. Soon I couldn’t remember if I was screaming at the television because of what was going on in the game or because of what I had experienced earlier in front of the computer. Viscous cycle, man.
Thankfully, I never reached the critical point below. But if I could think of one group that could do it, it’d be Bradford City and Dean Windass.

Knob cheese!

I’m willing to bet that’s the most exercise that kid has seen in awhile…
That’s a bit over-the-top, but having played Championship Manager/Worldwide Soccer Manager for quite some time now, that’s a fair representation of how it makes you feel on the inside.
Especially when the game decides that you WILL lose, no matter what formations or players you field or how many times you play the same match over and over and over…
It’s an addiction, really.

That kid is a retard…and, if you’re frustrated with a video game then you should really re-evaluate what you’re doing with yourself.

yep, he’s German.
the best part is the 2 second moment of clarity he has when he finally realizes his keyboard is trashed. You can literally see the haze lift. Right before he starts blaming it on the players.
