Lukey celebrated Thanksgiving with a 12-pack of Pilsner, a Polish-sausage stuffed turkey, and a moratorium on gambling. Far be it from us to pass judgment on the traditions of immigrants.

Now he’s back for another weekend (and mid-week) of Prem action, and we’re feeling an epic run coming on. The bankroll sits at $127.93 (based on $5 and $10 mythical wagers). Lukey’s picks are after the jump.

Pick of the Week:

“You’ll Never Walk Alone” goes quite well with another saying: “Misery loves Company.” With 2 draws, 5 losses, and 1 goal scored on the road most people would call me crazy to be picking Liverpool as my lock of the week. But, everything must come to an end, and so must Liverpool’s horrendous road form. Gerrard finally scored his first premiership goal, and could this be a sign of things to come? As much as Dirk Kuyt reminds me of crazy out of control childhood opponents, he scores goals and has been doing a good job of it thus far in the EPL. I wish Benitez would leave the lineup alone and let the team develop some chemistry.

Wigan has some injuries to deal with and Paul Jewell’s comments earlier in the week stating that Liverpool will not challenge for the EPL title will only help fuel the fire. Plan on seeing “The Robot” this week as Liverpool go into the JJB and earn their first away win…1-0.
