Postcards from the Prem
October 17 – 2006
A quick review of Cech related news, hand tailored to bring you up to date:
- An excellent video timeline of the events that lead to John Terry wearing gloves is available at The Fan’s Attic.
- Mourinho lashes out at Hunt, likening the challenge to Ben Thatcher’s charge on Pedro Mendes.
- Drogba says he knows forwards, and this was no accident.
- Jose Mourinho, in a televised press conference, lashes out at the treatment Cech received at Reading.
- Jens Lehmann makes a veiled threat to start hurting strikers.
- Reading counter Mourinho’s timeline with one of their own.
- And if you read all that, you deserve a bit of levity.

Can’t believe he had a fracture. It really looked fairly pedestrian (if not innocuous) at the time. It seems like more of a freak thing to me (a former goalie). Therefore (since I say so), Murinho and Dogbreath need to just shut the f*** up.

Crappy ass challenge, Hunt wasn’t getting to the ball so he should have stopped or jumped over Cech. You don’t just accidently run into a keeper that has the ball well before you get there….Having said that, it would be nice if Murinho would stop “stirring the pot”.

Mourinho reminds me of Arsene Wenger circa 2002.
